What is the differences betwen Ombre, Combo, and Nano Brows? What style is best for me?"

Accepted Answer

There a few application and styling techniques that differentitate each brow style. The main difference is whether we create crisp hair strokes or not.
 
Your ideal brow style will depend on certain features: your skin type, the amount of natural brow hair, lifestyle, and more.

Question 2

How long does an appointment take?

We want to offer you the best brow appointment possible and so, we never rush.
 
The inital brow appointment can take up to 4 hours and a 4-8 week touch up can last anywhere from 2.5-3 hours. 
 
During the brow appointment, we spend an hour on face analysis and shaping. From there, the actual tattooing takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the chosen brow style. Finally, we go over detailed aftercare to ensure proper healing and pigment retention. 
 
Time is also spent on taking before and after photos.
 
The total time for the appointment can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours.

Should I book a consultation?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You are able to book a free online consultation. 
 
Before any brow appointment is accepted, you are required to send 3 images of your current brows to boomlashes1@gmail.com (in good lighting and clear images - facing the camera straight on, head turned slightly left, and head turned slightly right).
 
This give us a better idea of what look will compliement you best.

Question 4

I already have my brows tattooed by someone else, can I still get them done from you?"

Accepted Answer

Clients who have previously tattooed brows will not always be considered as an acceptable candidate. There are many situations that could result in less than ideal healed results and because of this, you must submit photos of your current brows to boomlashes1@gmail.com before booking an appointment. 
 
Cover up or corrections are possible but are done with a case by case basis, and healed results may vary. Ideally, vigin eyebrows tend to have the best healed results (no previous brow tattooing done).

Question 5

Does it hurt to get your brows tattooed?

Accepted Answer

Short answer — no.
 
We use a 2 step numbing process to ensure your comfort. There may be slight discomfort when tattooing a light outline prior to shading in however, the sensation feels like a light scratch. Then once the numbing is applied, clients feel no pain. 
 
Clients all have different pain tolerance and react to the numbing different however, the pain is minimal to none. In fact, many clients actually fall asleep during the appointment!

Question 6

Do I have to come to my touch up appointment?

Accepted Answer

YES! Once the brows are healed after the inital appointment, there may be some areas that may need a bit more pigment. The brows will also need more layers of pigment added in order to acheive good retention for 1+ years. Additionally, we are able to make slight changes to the brows after you've gotten use to them (shape change/colour change).
 
Once you've completed the touch up appointment, your new brows will last anywhere from 1-2 years before needing another touch up. Most clients return on a yearly basis for touch ups.

Question 7

Am I able to get permanent makeup? — Client contraindications

Accepted Answer

Not every client will be suited for permanent makeup. Based off your health history and lifestyle, you may not be a right fit for these procedures.
